English as a Foreign Language Teachers

Englishouse, based near Putney Bridge station in Fulham, teaches English as a Foreign Language by using the specialist Callan Method. Students are typically aged 18-28 and come from all around the world.

We are currently recruiting teachers for evening classes (6-8pm).

Although no teaching qualifications or experience are required you should have excellent spoken English, good communication skills and enjoy working with people.

Here's how we recruit:

Please come and visit the school and observe one of our Callan Method classes in session.

Class sessions last 1 hour and start at:

09.30, 10.30, 11.30, 15.00, 16.00, 17.00, 18.00, 19.00 every day from Monday to Friday.

Arrive at reception 15 minutes prior to the class session.

After the class you can speak with the Director of Studies.

Pay starts at ?7 an hour - please note that teaching the Callan Method requires little or no preparation.
